The toughest project I’ve tackled so far is my hanging pulley system. It took some tinkering to get right, but once it clicked, I was obsessed. Inspired by old-school laundry racks, it now makes watering super easy—and it looks ridiculously cool, too.

I built this hanging grid in my garage and swapped my handmade wood crates for self-watering pots, and wow, what a difference. The plants get longer drinks, and the new growth has been so happy and full.
